On December 16-17, 2021 on the platform of Altai State University the laboratory "Center for Language Management and Communication Management ING", the Department of Media Communications, Advertising Technologies and Public Relations of Altai State University held the International Scientific Online Symposium "Altai Media Barometer: Cultural and Linguistic Identity of East and Central Asia". The symposium was attended by researchers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and China. The symposium was opened by an online lecture "Altai animal style" in Japanese by T.Y. Avdeeva, deputy head of the laboratory "Center for Language Management and Communication Marketing", Ph.D. in Philology, director of the Center for European and Eastern Languages Elite, an expert of the USE in Spanish in the Altai Territory.

The meetings of the International Scientific Online Symposium were held in the format of Discussion blocks. On December 16, the categories of groups worked in Discussion Blocks I and II: DG (‘discussion group‘ and OG of the online symposium (‘observer group’).
The problems of the Discussion block I: Media text: cultural and discursive dimensions, Asian life worlds: media, cultural, semantic diversity. The problems of the Discussion block II: The communication diversity of the Altai region in diachrony and synchrony; the Russian language as an integration constant of the East Asian and Central Asian communication spaces.
On December 17, 2021, the online symposium continued its work on the platforms of Discussion Block III (graduate students of the Department of ICTRiSO and the Department of RCT) and Discussion Block IV (undergraduates of the Department of ICTRiSO, undergraduate students of the Department of ICTRiSO, the Department of RCT and RANEPA). Discussion block III worked in the problem field Linguophilosophical understanding of the functional nature of language and media events; Discussion block IV – in the problem field The search for scientific truth in the analysis of the diversity of events, ideas, impressions: reality in the focus of scientific practice of undergraduates and undergraduate students.
The work of the symposium was completed by the Cultural and Educational Block, within which, under the leadership of the Candidate of Philology.N., associate professor of MKTRiSO Komissarova L.M. the program 맛있는 삶 (‘Delicious Life”).
